Hello!
We are letting everyone know that as of Tuesday, January 26, 2021, we will be closing our Facebook support group and as of today, we are not accepting new members.
It’s been a great 5 year adventure helping women+ come out later in life, and we are grateful for all the friends we have made online & in real life doing this work. But all good things usually come to an end, and this is the final chapter in our story here.
This website will remain up through at least March, and then we will see going forward if we will keep it going or not.
If you are a women+ coming out later in life, please check out these resources for support (will be updating this list as we get more info on other resources):
– Anne-Marie Zanzal is a coming out coach who we know personally. You can find out more about her on her website.
Andrea,
I know there are likely folks who are upset about this. I applaud you for doing what you need to do for you. You have poured yourself out and at some point I am sure that it becomes too much.
I hope that you and Rachel are well and I also would love to meet you in person, maybe have some fun at Lipstick on the other side of the pandemic. I think you are a super cool human. ❤️
Nothing but the best!

Thank you! And, yes, we hope to be much more social after this pandemic is over! Looking forward to meeting you in person then.
Such a shame. All I can say is thank you!! Sending love and peace to you both xx
Thanks so much from all the way over here in Australia. I am sitting on the deck of a little holiday house in the central coast of NSW and thinking how lucky I am to be out and 53 and enjoying a coffee in the sun with the woman I have been in love with for the last 17 years. We have only been together for 2 years but I left my straight marriage of 29 years to be with her. I read the blogs and women’s responses and applaude the bravery of you all. Thanks for setting up the group, it was a great help at a time when I was really struggling.
